WHAT ARE THEY …. ?
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS :
1. we always walk upstream : facing the traffic .
2. when sidewalkless : we walk in pairs .
3. when crossing main streets : we keep both eyes on the street , never follow the steps of those in front : cross at your own risk : ” no herd pattern here ” .
4. we avoid walking on main streets as much as possible.
5. WHEN crossing intersections or curves : bother to check not only left and right hand cars , but also behind your back .
6. we wear flashy / striky coloured outfits . WEARING THE YELLOW SAFETY VEST IS MANDATORY .
7. HEADPHONES SHLD BE TAKEN OFF WHILE CROSSING THE STREETS .
8. we always walk on the left side of the streets .
” WALKING IS AT YOUR VERY OWN RISK ”
thus , keep your eyes very HAWKLY wide opened and stay focused ” no injuries so far , no run overs , so keep the record clean ” .

REGULATIONS :
Fastwalkers who attend the events should ABIDE by the following rules :
1. NO SMOKING : smoking is strictly prohibited 15 minutes before , during & 15 minutes after the end of the walk .
2. no pets allowed during the walk .
3. no littering allowed .
4. wearing the YELLOW safety vest by each & every member EVERYTIME THROUGHOUT THE WALK is a MUST ( MANDATORY ) .
5. ADMIN’S & SUPERVISOR’S ” safety & conduct ” instructions are undebatable .
6. ADMINS & SUPERVISORS HAVE THE RIGHT TO DISMISS any rules – violating participants .
7. wearing proper sport / tennis shoes is a must .
8. no running allowed , esp in front rows .
9. orange vests are exclusively worn by admin and supervisors . no member is allowed to wear an orange vest DURING THE WALKS by any mean .
10. no kids under 18 years old are allowed unless accompanied by an adult .
11. no alcohol .
12. no flip flops , no slippers .
13. no jeans .
14. NO POLITICS , NO RELIGION NOR RACISM .
and yet you find some people who argues with rules … to those I say ..
when you signed up for a walk .. you sign up for the whole package .. we keep your company and run around for your safety and you agreed on the destination we choose so you should agree on all other rules as its not up to you to choose what you like and let the others neglected … when you walk enjoy it the right way on the left side
